Subs Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using Subs, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use Subs.

2. The Subs Service

Subs helps users record subscriptions, estimate upcoming payments, review monthly trends, view payment calendars, configure reminders, display upcoming payments in widgets, load service presets and icons, and optionally sign in with Google to back up and sync subscription records.

3. Your Subscription Records

You are responsible for the subscription information you enter, including service names, product names, amounts, currencies, billing cycles, payment methods, web domains, memos, icons, and dates. Subs relies on the information you provide and may calculate estimates based on that information.

You should review your records regularly. Subs does not cancel, modify, pause, purchase, or pay for any third-party subscription service on your behalf.

4. Payment Estimates and No Financial Advice

Subs may show monthly totals, upcoming payments, plan histories, currency conversions, payment calendars, paid-payment estimates, and trends. These are informational estimates only and may be inaccurate, delayed, incomplete, or based on outdated exchange rates or user-entered data.

Subs is not financial, tax, legal, accounting, or banking advice. You are responsible for confirming actual charges, billing dates, cancellation deadlines, exchange rates, renewal terms, and payment obligations with the relevant service provider, bank, or payment method.

5. Notifications and Widgets

If you enable subscription reminders, day-before payment reminders, or widgets, Subs may show local notifications or home screen information based on your settings and local data. Notifications and widgets may be delayed, missed, or not shown because of Android settings, battery restrictions, connectivity, device behavior, time zone changes, app updates, or disabled permissions.

You are responsible for checking your actual subscriptions and payment accounts. Do not rely on Subs as the only reminder for important payment, cancellation, or renewal decisions.

6. Account, Backup, and Sync

Google sign-in is optional. If you sign in, Subs may use Firebase Authentication and Firebase Firestore to sync subscription records and plan histories across devices. Sync availability may depend on your Google account, network connection, Firebase services, Android device behavior, app version, and backend availability.

You are responsible for maintaining access to your Google account and for reviewing synced data after sign-in, sign-out, device migration, account deletion, or reinstalling the app.

7. Custom Icons and Third-Party Content

Subs may let you choose or upload custom service icons and may load preset icons from third-party favicon or image services. You are responsible for the images, domains, URLs, and text you provide. Do not upload content that you do not have the right to use or that violates the rights of others.

Third-party subscription services, brand names, logos, icons, domains, prices, and exchange-rate providers are owned by their respective owners. Subs is not affiliated with or endorsed by those third parties unless explicitly stated.

8. Third-Party Services

Subs uses third-party services such as Firebase Authentication, Firebase Firestore, Firebase Storage, Firebase Realtime Database, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase App Check, Google Sign-In, Google Play services, Google favicon services, images.weserv.nl, open.er-api.com, Android system services, and device backup services. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies.

Soosu Studio is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, content, pricing, exchange rates, policies, or behavior of third-party services.

9. App Changes and Availability

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue Subs features at any time. We do not guarantee that any feature, local database, cloud sync, icon upload, preset list, exchange-rate source, notification, widget, analytics service, crash-reporting service, or third-party service will remain available forever or work on every device.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Subs, interfere with its services, attempt unauthorized access to Firebase or third-party services, upload unlawful or infringing content, reverse engineer the app except as allowed by law, or use Subs in a way that could harm users, Soosu Studio, backend services, or third parties.

11. Intellectual Property

Subs, including its app design, software, branding, and related materials, is owned by Soosu Studio or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of Subs or permission to copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or misuse the app except as allowed by law.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

Subs is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Soosu Studio disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, reliability, data preservation, and fitness for financial or safety-critical use.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Soosu Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, subscription records, notifications, sync data, icons, payments, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of Subs.

14. Termination

You may stop using Subs at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to Subs features if we reasonably believe that your use violates these Terms, harms users, harms the service, or creates legal or security risk.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the date below and publish the revised Terms on this page. Continued use of Subs after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
