SmartLED Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using SmartLED, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use SmartLED.

2. The SmartLED Service

SmartLED lets you create, save, reorder, play, back up, restore, and share LED sign presets. Features may include message editing, colors, color ranges, LED dot shapes, playback controls, QR code generation, backup files, and shareable links that open SmartLED settings on supported devices.

3. Your Content and Responsibility

You are responsible for the messages, visual settings, links, and QR codes that you create or share through SmartLED. You must not use SmartLED to create or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, deceptive, infringing, or violates another person's rights.

You retain any rights you have in your own message content. You grant Soosu Studio the limited permission needed to store, process, display, and transmit shared LED preset data so the sharing feature can work.

4. Shared Links and Public Access

When you generate a SmartLED share link or QR code, the LED preset settings needed to open that sign may be stored in Firebase Cloud Firestore. Anyone with the link may be able to open the shared sign. Do not share private, sensitive, confidential, or regulated information through SmartLED shared links.

We may remove, disable, or limit shared links if we believe they violate these Terms, create security risk, cause technical issues, or are required to be removed by law.

5. Local Presets and Device Behavior

LED presets saved in the app are stored on your device. You are responsible for managing your device, backups, and access to your device. Uninstalling, resetting, or clearing app data may delete saved presets.

If you export or restore a backup file, you are responsible for the file, the storage location, the apps that receive it, and the accuracy of the restored data.

6. Third-Party Services

SmartLED uses third-party services such as Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Cloud Firestore, Firebase Hosting, Google AdMob, Google User Messaging Platform, Google Play Review, Google Play services, Android system services, device backup services, and any apps you choose for sharing QR images, backup files, or links. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies.

SmartLED may show ads, including app open or splash ads, where permitted. Ad availability, consent flows, ad personalization, ad identifiers, and ad content are controlled by Google, your region, and your device settings.

7. App Changes and Availability

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue SmartLED features at any time. We do not guarantee that any feature, shared link, QR code, backup file, website, ad, review prompt, or stored preset will remain available forever or work on every device.

8. No Emergency or Safety-Critical Use

SmartLED is provided for general LED sign display and sharing. Do not rely on SmartLED for emergency communication, safety-critical instructions, navigation, medical use, or any situation where failure or delay could cause harm.

9. Intellectual Property

SmartLED, including its app design, software, branding, and related materials, is owned by Soosu Studio or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of SmartLED or permission to copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or misuse the app except as allowed by law.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

SmartLED is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Soosu Studio disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and reliability.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Soosu Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, content, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of SmartLED.

12. Termination

You may stop using SmartLED at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to SmartLED features if we reasonably believe that your use violates these Terms, harms users, harms the service, or creates legal or security risk.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the date below and publish the revised Terms on this page. Continued use of SmartLED after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
